[BMA] Poll 3: Monster combat

Hey I have another poll. This time it's about monster combat. I wonder if I should make it a little more sane when it comes to spellcasters and breathers?<br><br>1) Leave as-is.<br>2) Make monsters follow a more sane (player-like) combat style, involving SP and SP regen rates, HP regen rates, and short but existant breath weapon recharge rates. This would definitely help out with insane spellcasters. Of course, I'd have to do something to balance out player abilities, but overall it would probably feel more 'fair'.

Defenetly 2, because the system used right now is uhhm  ::) sux?  well i think it does since it gets me killed alot  :-/

Everyone else: Looks like I'll be working on that new combat system someday. I have no idea when I'll have time for that though.

hmm...  I like #2... but I also want an ak47 or an oozi to go with my char.  I think thats about fair since I dont have time to play lately.

I think it should be left as is, or made even more difficult for players. Current class abilities and powerful ego items make this variant far easier than the original mangband, and increasing monster difficulty would help to offset this.

I'm thinking about also giving monsters much more physical attack power, so that if you run into a group of dragons with immunity to their breaths, you're still screwed if you can't kill them from a distance. Which should be a bunch harder after I get some things ironed out.
