Just enjoy a good pint of fine ale...
Food flavor is pointless anyway in a game like this, and vanilla Angband already got rid of most food items in 3.1.

Maybe we should invite him to the pub sometime? It could change his bad behaviour if he tastes a soft biscuit.

Hrm...I wonder if I could use the DM character to summon Morgoth in town on the Pkill server....... o:-)

On an old local server I summoned Morgoth in the tavern with the DM char... it was fun as hell :)
Note that with the new code summoning is disabled in the town... so you need to re-enable that for a lot of fun.

Nah, that'd just be plain evil.

Now what was FUN was summoning then cloning (with summon staff/polymorph/clone) an army of baby black dragons in town. I think me and Angus did that on the main server.

Or the flock of creeping mithril coins. "OOOO money OW OW OW splat"

As everyone knows, soft biscuits quickly turn into little mounds of mold, and you see those all the time!

Actually, the reason biscuits are hard is they are made with unleavened bread, because leavened bread spoils very, very fast. Hardtack was, and is, the choice for the discerning adventurer who is away from a steady supply of food. (As would be jerky, of course, and corn fritters).

More information can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardtack
Are you not entertained?
Is this not what you came here for?
