Housed items dumped into BM on player death?

Post by Agor » Wed 06.05.2009, 21:13

Just an idea...

Some/all items in a player's house would be dumped into the blackmarket, but they would cost even more than the usually high prices of the blackmarket.

(Also could you please swap the main server back to a)?)

I definitely see the logic here, it doesn't really make sense that hundreds of the most amazing items in the game simply ... disappear. You'd expect greedy relatives to "steal" some of it to use themselves and most likely sell other things...

That said, it's a feature for a later version, in my opinion anyway.

Servers swapped back!

Maybe the black market should ONLY contain what players lost... what do you think? :)

The black Market would have to have way more inventory room if this were the case, since otherwise we would have to pick which items get tossed into the BM if a dying/retireing player has a castle filled with stuff.

Or, the items that dont fit get tossed into a queue of things going into the black market when it next resets.

yeah if you think about getting 99 rings of speed +15 or smth in the BM for two hundred quazillions probably does not make sense either :)

it s probably the "not for sale" items, ppl are after :)

What about a 4-5 item rule?
Like when you die, only the items that are most valuable get dropped to the floor.
This way, we won't risk getting an endless quene of items for BM, and the awesome stuff from the dead lvl50 won't get pushed out because a lvl20 died 5 min later.

Personally, I love the idea. I can imagine very fun scenarios with people storming BM to scavange stuff of some recently deceased player, etc.

Woah, expected a different reaction altogether heh. Keep the ideas coming! Also one idea could be a separate store "Graveyard Shop" (with a better name!) that sells the dead players stuff. But then again I think putting the items in the BM is a better idea (how and how many and which items exactly should ofcourse be thought about.).
