When dropping my gold, I often find myself making mistakes when I wish to drop all of my gold, or all but some token amount (say, to go buy a staff or some potions). With this in mind, I have these ideas for an expanded gold drop ($) comand:
After hitting the $ key, we would use some non-numerical character (lets say "a") to indicate that we want to drop all of our gold.
So, to drop all gold, you would hit $, enter "a" , and hit return. This would drop all gold.
Expanding on this, if a value is appened to the "a" , and the value is less than the total gold carried, then all but this amount would be dropped.
For example, entering "a4000" would drop all but 4000 gold.
