Not sure if this is a bug or not, but can the code be changed so that cursed artifacts can be dropped anywhere that's not town? If you're unlucky enough to pick one up, you may have to dive...for awhile...to drop it. In one case yesterday, you can't even drop it on the same level where you picked it up.

That would stink. Never had that problem.

The problem would annoying for cursed artifacts with a high base object level and a low artifact level. Such items could be generated in vaults as out-of-depth artifacts. Fortunately, no such artifact currently exists.

Not sure because I never tried, cant you destroy them?

Artifacts are indestructable
