Client crashes when I make a certain macro.

Client crashes when I make a certain macro using CTRL + ½. I dunno if it has to do with scandinavian keyboard setup, but it's kinda weird.

The macro I tried to put in there was \eq3.

Umm, out of curiosity, where's the ½ key?
Cause I could test it, since we have same keyboard setup (at least I suppose we do). If I was just able to locate the key...

Alright, that makes it the [|§] key for me, and that...crashes the client indeed

On the US keyboard that key is the back quote (`) and the tilde (~) when shifted. I just tried to create a macro using <ctrl>` and nothing happened. Sounds like we might not be handling that key correctly... (With the US keyboard you get ½ by holding the alt key down and pressing 0189 on the numeric keypad)

In windows:
Pressing the key normally = ½
Pressing the key plus shift = §
Pressing the key plus ctrl = (nothing)

I dunno if this helps...

I remember spending a long time trying to figure out how we could get to use the num pad 5. I hate keys! Curse them!

It's not a big issue. So leave it be, and don't mind my silly requests. We have plenty of keys to macro already ;) I was merely trying to report a bug to make it a known bug.

My layout seems to be a bit different, the key normally is §, and the key plus shift is ½.

§ does nothing and I have it macroed already.
½ seems to bring up the options menu, same as pressing =.
Ctrl+§ and Ctrl+½ don't even get recognized by the client, so they neither crash the client nor get accepted for macros...
