server question

hey quick server question, trying to lan mangband but cant find the server i start on my computer? anyone know how to locate it or find the ip address its running on? tried using computers current ip but it didnt work

What is your computer's configuration? Please include the following details: CPU, OS, RAM, HD, make and version of C compiler used, general idea of the relevant network setup including routers, firewalls, and the like.

compter is 1.4ghz p4, running windows 2k, 700MB ram, 80GB HD and i used the latest compiled version of mangband server, didnt compile it myself

oh forgot to add, using a linksys router, network is NWlink, IPX, SPX, netrBIOS, and tcp/ip enabled

Well, the Windows server is really dodgy, but let's try this. Run it, wait for it to start, then open a client on the same machine. Tell it to connect to 127.0.0.1 and see if it will.

yeah it works, thanks, but its really laggy which i see is an already adressed issue in the help file so ill just wait for a more reliable windows server. thnx a bunch for your time :)
