*KING* Confusion

Finally, after several attempts and many more deaths I've beaten Mr. Morgoth ... with my first non-high-elf-mage char, a dwarf warrior named Confusion (btw... the name didn't help ;)

These were my stats:

STR: 18/***
DEX: 18/140
CON: 18/210

Int, wis and chr... I've learned this is something for high elf mages :)
But, i had incredible HPs (1193), Morgoth never hit me below a 4.

This was my gear:

a) The Bastard Sword of Eowyn
b) The Short Bow of Amrod
c) a Ring of Damage (+17)
d) a Ring of Speed (+12)
f) a Feanorian Lamp
g) Balance Dragon Scale Mail (-2)[30, +11]
h) a Kolla of Lordly Resistance [3,+32](+1)
i) an Orcish Shield of the Avari [5,+26](+2)(+2) {many thanks to one of Warriors chars)
j) a Jewel Encrusted Crown of the Magi [0,+16](+3){ESP}
k) a Set of Leather Glives of the Istari(+5, +2)[2,+9](+2) {confusion}
l) a Pair of Metal Shot Boots of Speed [6, +8] (+8)

Some really good stuff in it, on the other hand my AC was 156 only, damage was 6bpr with 56 +toDam. The only lacking resist was light.
I needed 18 healing pots and 9 or 10 *heals*, forgot my buffs as usual. Base speed was +27, so +37 with a speed pot.

complaining about AC with some equipment under +15 to ac?
You coulda boosted AC by 16 with some town scumming.
Also your weapon had only +12 tohit, so you could have improved that a bit too.
