Forum Housekeeping

Attention all forum users:

I will be doing some housekeeping here at the MAngband.org forums over the next few days. Please let me know if you have double signups for whatever reason, new email addresses, or lost passwords.

Specific accounts needing their owners' attention, due to email address concerns:
[s]* Maegdae (suspected bogus address)[/s] Cleared
[s]* blayman900 (not a valid email address, zero post count)[/s] deleted
[s]* nostromo426 (was supposed to be a temporary account, zero post count)[/s] deleted
[s]* Jojo, YoYo_Lindo (extras in a triple (!) signup)[/s] deleted
[s]* Draogon_Ruler (double signup with typos in the second, zero post count)[/s] deleted

If you owned one of the deleted accounts and want it back, you must re-create it.

"Bogus Address"?  Since Crimson asked me to join to test the forums, back when he started them up, if I remember correctly.   Are hotmail accounts not allowed?  If so I'll change it.  

Edit:  Well, I got myself a Gmail account some time back, so I suppose I'll switch to that.

Sorry, anything starting with "test" (especially that) looks really suspicious to me. You're off the hook.

I've seen a lot of bogus addresses and that's one of the more popular of them. Do you get a LOT of spam?

(edit) For future reference, yes, hotmail accounts are allowed.

I use the hotmail account for web forums, giving my email address to people, etc.  The one that came from my ISP goes only to people I know in/through real life.

I don't get a ton of spam through hotmail, the spam filter works pretty well.

The duplicate IDs Jojo and YoYo_Lindo have been deleted by request of their owner. (There were emails behind the scenes.)
