Greetings...
I didn't see any posts relating to this topic, so here's my question: I'm a big fan of Angband, and I noticed this program allowing more than one player to share in the game. I have a small group who wants to play together, but the only way we could do it is through a LAN and not the Internet (blocked ports, slow connection, etc.). Is there a way to set MAngband up to accept a LAN game, and if not, is there a variant of this game that is designed for network play? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

MAngband LAN play?
Re: MAngband LAN play?
I have tried MAng on LAN. Basically all you have to do is run the server program on one computer, then when everyone starts the client they manually enter the local IP of the computer running the server.
Re: MAngband LAN play?
Hey, thanks for the tip. Just one question: How do I find my local IP address? Thanks a lot!
Re: MAngband LAN play?
Might you be on Windows? Then run cmd and type ipconfig.
