Would be nice to fix uniques generated in the wilderness once and for all. It's easy to generate one in a completely remote area and he will be unkillable again...

This was supposed to be fixed for 1.1.2, but clearly is not. I've seen uniques generated in the wilderness many times in the latest instance.

I checked the sources on the server and that fix has been implemented. If we're getting uniques in the wilderness still there's something we're missing.

The check for negative depth has been added only in get_mon_num(). In my variant, which doesn't have this bug, I've added that check in allow_unique_level(), which is called twice (in get_mon_num instead of the current check, and place_monster_one). I've also expanded the get_mon_num() function to take two parameters, level AND depth, to avoid bugs with negative depths (wilderness).

Just a quick post -- it seems that Ulfang the Black is unfindable now. Same problem as Wormtongue.

Has anyone checked the respawn counter?
iirc it was mysteriously set to -1 when Fang disappeared into wilderness, and it was fixed through a quick edit of the savefiles and a server reboot.

I was able to kill both Wormy and Ulfang so I guess someone already fixed the problem.
