I've heard of people naming their slime molds. More on the old server than the new, but anyways, here are a few good names for those strange twisted individuals who do that:

Harvey, Reginald, Mortimer, Donald, Vincent, Bartholomew, Gerald, Earl, Thomas, Francis, Stephen

Edmund, Lawrence, Chauncey, Humphrey, Earl, Rupert, and The Reverend Plantagenet O' Rourke.  (Tom, Dick, and Harry get an honorable mention).

And what about female names?

Esmerelda, Christabel, Margaret, Phillipa, Genevieve, Marie, Olga.

What's the difference between male and female slime molds you ask?  Only they know for sure...

If only the inscriptions could have enough room for me to name it "Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gumbigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andre Charton Haymoss Ivanovicci Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III."
