Hi all,
Is it possible (especially to GOD) to create new houses or to manage housing in mangband ?
Some houses seem to be unused by old players, is it possible to know you is the owner (and possibly make an offer to buy back the house).
Some other high player may need big castles outside of town, can someone build houses ?

Yes, all house ownership is tracked via the audit system.  However, houses would only be "removed" from a player who didn't play in a very long time  probably over a year).

There are actaully tons of free houses.  just keep looking, and you'll find that dream chateau.

Crimson, I thought you had previously said that characters who didn't log in for 6 months would be purged to free up server resources?  

In any case I think some sort of real-estate planning would be a good addition.  Would be neat if you could go to a shop, put in a location such as -25000 ft and a sector 2,2 and a house size 180 spots and get a bid, a time estimate and such.. then over the course of a game week or month or even year depending on the size of your abode have it built.

Of course it would need to come at a premium but what else is money good for to a level 40+ character?
