Seeing this, especially when I'm at 4100'....

Only the end point should be considered when guaging packet loss to a remote point.  Interveaning appliances/concentrators may, or may not, return or respond to the TTL settings that are used to determine traceroutes and packetloss.

The (new) latency meter in mangclient will notify you if it detects packet loss by turning purple.

Note that under TCP, even with SO_NODELAY turned on, packets being dropped results in retransmission, so the "loss" converts to a delay.
