Earlier I'd posted that I lost some stuff when the server rolled back...it's now back.

Kinda.

The gear I remember moving (a balance DSM and a few kollas) are, in fact back, and my money is a bit different...I had under 2000 on me (that's 2k) and a little under/over 6 mil on the ground in my house.  When I logged in, I find that I've got 5.8 mil on me (which is about what I remember having on the ground), and another 5.1 mil on the ground.  I go check my house and find that the balance dsm and kollas that were missing are now there.

Yay!

So, I decide to dive.  I hit the bottom (which has been static for the last few days) and stair up to 6300.

It looks familiar.

I look around the level and see a backwards Z pattern area that looks a bit too familiar.  I've been on this exact level earlier in the day.  I took off my esp and yep, sure enough, there's the kolla that I tried to get earlier.  Same monsters there, too.

I retrieve the kolla and go down to 6350, then back up to 6300 to regenerate the level...'cept it doesn't regen.  It's the same one, with the numerous destructs all throughout the level.

So, it looks like I broke 6300.

Given that, along with the hiccups that have been happening with gear missing and, in some cases, coming back, perhaps it's about time to hose out all the player files, arts, and everything, and give the server a nice reboot?

I guess this is how 6350 got staticed (which makes sense- there was another save problem around the time 6350 staticed). That is, the server rolled back to a save (or maybe subsequent saves failed) from when you were on 6300. But, your character save is up to date.

So, to the server, you were saved on that level (that is, if client and world saves were working properly and synced, you would rejoin the server next session and be on that level having not yet picked up your gear. In this case, they are out of sync, so the world save says you are there).

Man, all this is getting wacky!
