MAngband

I was playing earlier today and everything seemed to be working fine.  Then tonight I fired up Mangband again and I just get a few blank windows...nothing happens.  I checked the mangclient.ini (using mangclient 0.7.2 in XP) and everything looked fine.  I wiped the directory and reinstalled (i.e. unzipped it).  Same problem.  Then I downgraded to 0.7.0 and am still seeing just a blank screen.

Did I get banned or is the server down?  Mangband.org is obviously still up or I wouldn't be posting this...

Are you using WinXP? Each time I reinstall a Mang/TomeNET client with WinXP I get the same problem... which is easily fixed by rebooting my computer.

Yes, I'm using XP.  I rebooted (grudgingly) and you were right, it did the trick.  There must be a bit of networking code stuck in memory when that happens.
