Note that both are in the 200/8 (LATNIC) address space, and neither is a normal host for either Angus or Ernie.

Was just chatting with one of the broader group of Argentinians (ie, I think separate from the groups of guys who worked together and got saucy with Angus' account) -

Seems LACNIC, if Crim did in fact ban the whole lot of LACNIC, represents all of Latin America, Brasil, Argentina. Or, as dude who I was chatting with describes it "Crimson banned an entire continent."

Crim, was your ban-bat fairly broad-spectrum (ie, truly all of LACNIC), or was it a narrower subset?

it was, as I'd said, all of LATNIC.

yes, this was perhaps overly wide, but they appeared to be albe to jump ranges at will, and pretty much left me no alternative.

Given the time that's gone by, sure, I'll remove it.   First sign of a problem though, and the entire space goes back in.
