We should have a forum where we coders and admins can make announcements and set up polls.

Aside from "news" or port specific?  What'd you have in mind?

What I meant was to have a forum where if we had an  idea that we're considering adding to the game, we could ask people to vote on it. It might not get a lot of traffic except for during poll times.

already have the forum, wish list items.

Polls are another feature that hasn't been added yet.

OK, good enough for me take your time with the polls, I don't see much of a need for them in the near future.
