Probably not a bug.

PWMAngband has a totally different system for houses than MAngband. Houses act totally like shops. By default, when you buy a house, its door is set black and your house acts like a Black Market. To alter the behavior, you need to "paint" the house door by throwing a potion at it.

Here's a list of what houses you can have and what items can be dropped inside:
- brown door: General Store (any item that can be bought in General Store, not worthless)
- grey door: Armoury (armor parts, not worthless)
- white door: Weapon Shop (weapons, not worthless)
- green door: Temple (potions + scrolls + blessed/blunt weapons, not worthless)
- blue door: Alchemy Shop (potions + scrolls, not worthless)
- red door: Magic Shop (potions + scrolls + wands + staves + rods, not worthless)
- black door: BM (anything, not worthless, price x2)
- purple door: expensive BM (anything, not worthless, price x10)
- orange door: Book Store (books, not worthless)
- yellow door: Home (anything)

If you have a worthless item you want to drop, use a yellow potion and make a Home.

I had my house a Black Market and couldn't drop potions of restore-whatever. That was with my Unbeliever. I logged in with my Shapechanger and bought a house (the door automatically opens when you buy one). I was in my normal (Ent) form; I when inside and closed the door, I couldn't drop anything, then I couldn't open the door. I teleported out, sold the house, and put my stuff in #8.

I tried to restart the server but it didn't help, but now today the problem is gone.

Huh? This never happened to me before...
Clearly a problem of ownership. But if the problem is gone, it's probably nothing...
