Ho! Ho! Ho! It's PWSanta time!

New PWMAngband 1.1.10 beta 9 released!

This one is just a minor update to celebrate Christmas and the release of the new Vanilla 3.5 version. Here's the list of changes:

- Remove DRAIN_EXP from The Lost Silmaril of Maglor
- Remove DRAIN_EXP from randart Rings of Power (Nazgul drops), and slightly decrease their power to compensate
- Fix object list padding for unknown items and known artifacts
- Add missing space between symbol and description for monster and object lists
- Fix attack.txt to handle resistance descriptions properly
- Fix some compiler warnings
- Fix autopickup behaviour
- Fix small SDL memory issue
- Change store UI to better reflect no selling option
- Room template fix
- Update changelist
- Fix warnings and leaks

Note: characters from beta 8 can be played with beta 9, but you need the beta 9 client to play on beta 9 servers.

Files updated: client, server and source code.

As I was told in IRC, the latest SDL client crashes when started. This is due to a bug in the latest FreeType 2.5.2 (font) library. I'll see if I can bypass that, otherwise, I'll simply revert the library to version 2.5.0.1 which didn't have the problem.

Found a fix on the FreeType git repository. I'll update the FreeType library tonight.

Beta 9 has been (silently) updated with fix for the previous bug. You can redownload the client part and just replace the two libs freetype.dll and SDL_ttf.dll if you want to use the SDL client.

RNG giveth, RNG taketh. This time, it's the RLNG (or real-life number generator) that taketh. Got myself badly injured in an accident this week end and broke my left arm. So PWMAngband is put on hold for now...

Ow, terribly sorry to hear that, PW :( Hope it'll grow quickly and that you're not in too much pain.

The RNG is a cruel mistress... but maybe she'll give you a nice plain gold ring the next time around, never know :)

Back to work next week! This probably means a new release (everything was already done, just didn't have the time to get the source from my comp at work and package the whole 1.1.10) as soon as I get there...
