"you freeze the monster"

Branded weapons are somewhat mysterious effects. They do more damage, but only if the monster in question does not resist. Perhaps we could add more attacking text to make this effect more transparent:

You hit the monster (no slays)
You cut the monster (slay type)
You cleave the monster (*slay* type)
You burn the monster (fire brand)
corrode (acid)
freeze (cold)
zap (lightning)
poison (poison)

To some extent I agree about this, would need to discuss with the rest of the team though, immediately it does not seem to have any real impact on anything, some might think it's "too much info", others might enjoy it. No responses so far could tend to suggest that this isn't really all that important to players.

I'd say its a real nice thing to add for the 'player centered' version. Its just one of those nice touches, ya know? And I don't see how it could really get in the way, since it all stays on just one line of text.
